The Pool/
           Prototype

Walking into this space, I feel a sense of time. The building carries a story. The story is invisible. I am being observed. The imprinting of the time makes me feel like go Into a character. Observing the line in the space that makes the space alive. The lines connect the level of the building. Standing in the centre of the space, the sounds from outside are filtered by wall and window. The feeling of being isolated, my body squeezed together automatically. However, The body in the space feels private and public. Makes me have the imagination of the swimming pool. Being private and also public brings very conflicting sensations in the body. My body is automatically creating roles for this space. This is a staff member working in the office building. This body is a woman. In this public and private space, the texture of her body is tense, overwhelmed and restrained. The interior space has huge windows. Close your eyes. This space is safe, the huge window in front of you. You have nowhere to hide, and a huge sense of insecurity will slowly engulf you. The choice of dress is based on the insecurity brought by this space and body. Women sometimes choose to dress excessively to cover up their vulnerability. The hard heel forces your spine to keep upright constantly, and the stiff suit keeps your body bound in real-time. The columns in the space divide the space and bring a sense of oppression. The “imbalance” of objects is opposed to the body that wants to regain balance. The confrontation is generated by the female body.
